The U11/U10A team took part in the U11 Girls Hockey Qualifier at Framlingham College. We were in a pool with 4 other teams, and our results were as follows: 1 draw, 2 loses and 1 win. These results meant that we went through to the plate competition for knockout matches in the afternoon.

For our QF match versus Ipswich Prep, we won 1-0. Our semi-final match versus Norwich High School, we won 2-0. In the final versus Woodbridge School, we won 2-0. We won the plate competition, and were awarded IAPS Sport badges. We are so excited, we worked very hard and it all paid off!

Every member of the team played superbly. Our attacking was fluid and we worked hard on getting in front of our defenders and moving the ball around the D to get some goals.

Our defence was outstanding, making some great goal-saving tackles and clearing it away to our midfield and towards our goal. Georgina was phenomenal in goal as she only let in 2 goals earlier during the pool matches. She had a clean sheet in the whole plate competition. We had a great day and cannot wait for the next tournament after half-term. Thank you to Mrs Cobb and Miss Smith for taking us and coaching us so well!

Mr McCarthy proudly issues an IAPS Sports badge to each U10/11A player during assembly. Well-deserved!
