Well-composed melodies
14 Feb 2025Form 4 have been busy composing during their music lessons this term.
They have been looking at the difference between quavers and semi-quavers and have been practising their compositions with instruments.

There have been new topics in both humanities and science this week. The new humanities topic is Christianity and the children looked at the timeline of the religion and what symbols are important to them.
In science, they have begun work on solids, liquids and gases. They worked out the differences between solids and liquids by looking at a range of objects (honey and flour proved tricky) and then had a go at racing liquids in an experiment on viscosity.
They have begun practising their play during English lessons and have been working on column subtraction in maths.
